"When I worked there twenty years ago they had nearly four hundred beagles in building 300 nobody wanted to talk about. I never saw or heard them but I got government reports that confirmed they were there. Nobody in Newark seemed to know they were there either. Now I wonder, if they are still there, what do they do or what did they do to them. These dogs never see the sun, feel the wind or rain or grass under their feet. Seems to me, it's about time Stine Research Center tells the community what is or what was going down in building 300. I think it's safe for all of us to imagine the worse."
"I worked at f m c under brown &root for 3 years as a pipe insulator 9 month ago I was let go.I really liked working their. I always kept safety in my heart and looked out for others.I always thought of my self as a professional because I had 16 years as maintenance. Mechanic at DuPont edge moor plant until it closed.I have over 20 years of experience Thank You."
"FMC scooped up a nice chunk of land and profitable business from old DuDowPont. They've made many improvements to the facilities. The site grounds are vast and the Maryland Delaware state line divides it into roughly half in each state. Various historical border markers of the state boundaries are present along the border including a prismatic stone marking a misidentified three point border with PA. Vast farm fields and a nice trail goes through thick forests, with lots of nature and wildlife. The huge new greenhouses and research building Ellen built for Pioneer which Breen axed, sits pristine in the rear, with plans to finish it and move in in the near future. I've worked here for 16 years and it's been much nicer since FMC took over. The future looks bright."
"It's not open to public. It's a site of the dupont company. Still has employees in the states... for now."
