About the Business
First State Academy of Dance, located at 107 South Maple Avenue in Milford, Delaware, is a premier institution for dance education. Our experienced staff, led by owner Michele Xiques Arnold, offers a wide range of classes for students of all ages and levels. From ballet to ballroom, our instructors provide the knowledge and technique necessary for students to achieve their personal goals.
In addition to our regular classes, we also offer ballroom lessons through Dancing on the Shore. This 12-week program culminates in a performance in our annual Dance Concert. Our mission is to nurture the artistic talents of dedicated students, helping them reach their full potential as dancers.

We are also home to FSDA's non-profit dance company, providing additional performance opportunities for our students.
