"I started school with HARRIS in Feb of 2019 and my class was the first class to do the 900 hour accelerated program in Dover De witch is approximately 6 months long versus the year or more long course they had before. I won’t lie it was a bit messy at first because it was a new program but it was more of a communication issue than anything , But as time went on it was well with it. It definitely was a hard course for me and i had to literally dedicated my whole life for the last 6 months to nothing but school. There was so much negative talk and miscommunication issues going on through out the time i was there and through other people and the things I’ve read people have made HARRIS and it made them look bad but i didn’t allow that to bother me. I feel that we encounter these things in life no matter where we go so it’s a matter of if we are or or not gonna entertain it . Harris school is a GREAT school!!!!! all the instructors and upper management really care about there students and want to see us all succeed. It all starts with communication and they made it clear that if you need help or have questions that there doors are always open and i saw that all the time. There are things that your responsible for doing like going to class every day, because that’s a very important l part of your grade as well as coming to class everyday in uniform that your course color that you should wear and white shoes as well, no hoop ear rings only studs, most students with attitudes and more Couldn’t crasp those rules!! and yes you will docks as well from your grade you for professionalism for not coming to class dressed appropriately. Again these things that are not hard to do people made it hard on them selves. These things will encounter every day such as going to work you have rules to follow this is the same aspect. It’s a college there goal is to prepare you for a career a business they teach you how to be professional act professional we are a reflection of the school so when we leave and go on externship and to a job we take what we have learned with us. It’s all about having a positive attitude, being prepared and organized and ready to come to class every day .. I have learned so much from HARRIS and i will miss everyone there. I start externship on Monday the 5th and i am ready and having faith that i will be hired. If your interested in going to HARRIS go for it , just make sure your time is dedicated to them if you give them 100 percent they will do the very same . Going to HARRIS has been one of the best decisions of my life .."
"HARRIS HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST REGRET OF MY LIFE! I went there in 2010 graduating top of my class. It's now 2017 and still have been unsuccessful in finding a position as a medical assistant. I went there as a single mother hoping to make a life for my child and i. I get no help with support at all! I still have the loans which I've been unable to pay because I work and barely make it day to day like most who attend these types of schooling programs. Now I just find out the program they use took my taxes which most people look forward to and need to survive the next year. Harris has done nothing in helping me since graduation. If I could do it over again I would go to del tech where you can get grants and not be stuck with 12000 dollars in student debt! Very disappointed and I will never recommend them or say anything good about them."
"I got a job in a high end spa (massage therapy class) before I finished school with 2 other class mates. They helped me with everything and I really feel like I was prepared. Love Mrs. Kim"
