"The 2 weirdo girls that work the weekend are truly that...weird! petty and rude. Going during the week is nice but those 2 girls who work the weekend are so awkwardly irritating, sometimes I will walk up place an order and they will be holding hands looking at their phones sometimes won't even acknowledge me for about a minute or so, the asian looking one I believe is the worst, I will go in and she will be on her computer browsing hello kitty stuff, I'll be a foot away and she will not look up even after you say um hello. I have seen them turn away an older couple because the only table left was a 3 person table!! I try not to go on the weekends other than that the place is ok"
"It's original location on Arch Street is no longer there so we had to find the other one way inside of the city. The food was okay but nothing special pretty place nice atmosphere employees were very friendly. There was no place to park there and honestly not sure it was worth the effort to even find it and then get a place to park. But perhaps if you're in the city near there it's worth a trip!"
"Showed up at around 2:30 (they close at 8) and they were already sold out of most pastries, including the titular creme brulee, which we had specifically intended to get. We got the chocolate tart which did not taste much like chocolate, more like nuts, and there was too much crust with very little filling. Not the quality of pastry I was expecting, especially for the price. The cashier was very nice and welcoming and the atmosphere was lovely, would have considered coming back again if the pastry selection and quality hadn't been so disappointing."
"I didn’t know this was a sit-down cafe, and I was pleasantly surprised. Creme Brulee was humming with good energy my entire visit. I grabbed a seat in the corner and told the host I would be staying a while (four hours between meals and meetings). I propped up my laptop, ordered a coffee (bottomless?), and got to work. Over the course of a few hours, I watched regulars dine-in, folks order pastries to go, and the staff handle their intimate operation with grace. I saw a few buddies - 5 to be exact - during my visit, which made it truly feel like a local watering hole. I got the omelet for lunch, and it didn’t need a shake of salt or pepper (that’s how you know). My buddy ordered an almond croissant; completely unprompted, he rolled his eyes and tilted his head back with sincere pleasure. I look forward to going back here. If it wasn’t a weekday, I probably wouldn’t have occupied a table with my laptop, but it was quiet enough for me to do so. Between the Eagles win and this sweet stop, it was the perfect way to start a Monday."
"The service was nice and the person who took my order was very friendly. I ordered a tiramisu, creme brulee, cheesecake, and a green juice. The cheesecake, tiramisu, and the green juice were all very good. However, the creme brulee was bad. It was very runny and it looked like it was curdled. I couldn't eat it because it wasn't appetizing. I included a picture for reference."
