"We did a guided..? Tour the second to last weekend in December of 2017. Our tour guide brought us through 3 historic homes and told us that they were decorated for christmas which we were excited to see. We kept getting told to "come back in the spring/fall or any other time" to get a good tour of the homes. We were with about 10 other people confused as to why we weren't getting the "good" tour since we had paid $10 a person to be told "this is a historic room" or "there's a ton of information about this house" but you have to come back to find out. If we were on the (bring you through old homes but not give you any facts or be able to answer any questions accurately) tour they should better advertise that before paying. Very disappointing. Our tour guide was poorly trained on information as well. Loved to see the history but that is all we did, a quick glance through. There were rooms we were also told we could not go into because every other time of the year they give thorough tours but not the one we were on. Wish we knew we had to "come at a different time"."
