Reviews of Lakeside Pottery Studio
"Purchased a statue in Zimbabwe and was heartbroken when it arrived broken. Lakeside repaired it beyond my expectations… it looks brand new. If I don’t tell anyone it was broken prior, nobody would ever know. Perfection is the best I can describe the work. Highly recommend!"
"I’m so happy that I came across Lakeside Pottery Studio! This mug is an heirloom of sorts in my partner’s family. She was devastated when it broke in an accident. Morty consulted with me and we decided that the copper effect kintsugi repair was the way to go. He and Patty made the entire process easy for me, and went far above and beyond what I’m used to in customer service. In person, the copper effect has a depth and warmth to it that compliments the colors of the mug very well. It’s a beautiful and sturdy repair, and it arrived in time for me to present it to my partner on our anniversary. She loves it! Thank you to Morty and Patty for a great experience and an even better result! If you’re looking for this kind of repair, especially for a sentimental piece, this is the way to go."
"I had the best experience. After being bummed for breaking my vase, I am now happy it happened. We did the Kintsugi repair and it is just beautiful. It has character now! Overall it was an easy process, Morty and Patty are very helpful and work their magic."
"My beloved bull took a tumble and, as a milestone birthday gift, I wanted to hold on to him as a reminder of the tumbles we all take in life. I thought kintsugi repair would be beyond my budget, but Morty and Patty had several options available and I am thrilled with the results. Communication with them was clear and direct, instructions were super-specific, and the work was done quickly and beautifully. (photos: before, broken, and after). Thank you, Morty and Patty!"
"I own some very rare and very old marble objects that suffered server breakage in shipping. I was sick about the loss of such beautiful, nearly irreplaceable, things. After a search I came upon Lakeside Pottery and was impressed with the scope and sensitivity of their displayed work. After an initial conversation I decided to commit to trusting Lakeside with my restoration. I quickly became very comfortable with the process and sensitivity of these artists, and the end result far exceeded my expectations. My Grand Tour marble column was whole again and I could not find any hint of the repair despite knowing just where it had been smashed. The prize that I though was lost had been returned with all its beauty and value intact. The price was not inexpensive but I consider it to have been a bargain that was easily justified by the return of both the rare aesthetics and economic value. Very shortly after my first experience another shipping tragedy happened. This time the damage was more server and required much more reconstruction, as well as extensive resurfacing. I was again amazed at how Lakeside Pottery was able to transform my box of rubble into the glorious 200 year old monument pictured below. Thank you for sharing your Art! Bob E"
