"Great community!!! We had my kiddo’s first bday party here and it was so perfect. Love that a space like this exists."
"Lilypad is such a meaningful community to be part of! I’ve been bringing my daughter (21 months) here to play since the fall and we always have such a lovely time. The other regular caretakers/parents and the staff here are friendly, polite, and a joy to be around. They have a designated snack/kitchen area where we can wash my daughter’s hands easily and have a snack or lunch break. Clean, easy diaper-changing station included! We pay for the yearly membership and it’s so worth it to be drop in whenever we want to, even if we only stay an hour."
"Lilypad is basically my living room at this point! We moved from Toronto this December. New to the city and to stay at home mom life to my 1.5yr old, I was so worried I would feel isolated. Discovered Lilypad two days after arriving, and felt immediately at home. My toddler and I host playgroups there now, and it is where I have met all of my mom and nanny buds. 100% recommend, and will probably see you there!"
"I learned about Lilypad through a friend and tried it out since the fist visit was free. My 2 year old got right to work and I got to sit on a couch while he played on his own! (That barely happens at home haha!) The vibe is very welcoming and relaxed, the adults mostly sit back and let the kids explore. After a while of going to play I started volunteering at their monthly sidewalk sales and felt really good about being part of such an important community space :)"
"I found out about Lilypad after visiting one of the huge monthly sidewalk sales hosted by their thrift store, City Kids Consignment. Lilypad has been a lifesaver for me as a parent, especially since I had my baby during the height of covid. We go to the play space at least once a week so he can get some social interaction with kids his age. It's also nice for me because I get to meet other parents who have similarly aged children. He also loves all the toys there--there's so much variety! As an adult, I think the space is really comfy. While there are a lot of play centers for the kids (kitchen, train table, ball pit, dress up, climbing gym), there are also big cushy couches and chairs, a coffee machine, and a really clean bathroom. There's also a snack and changing area--it really feels like home away from home. There usually have extra snacks, water, diapers, and wipes, too."
