"Decided to give this place a try after seeing photos and hearing about it from friends on how good it is and I give it a 5 out of 5 stars. The food was the amazing. You can taste the love the cook put into his work. The egg rolls were fantastic. I got the rib eye with 9 cheese truffles mac and cheese and hubby got the salmon and mac and cheese. Honestly the best food we have. The atmosphere was so relaxing and homey with that downtown city warmth vibe. Definitely coming back oh and the cheesecake was phenomenal. Thanks to the host/ server for making us feel at home. Highly recommend"
"The service is AMAZING but the food is even better. The lemon pepper wings is my favorite after the jerk chicken (not pictured). Definitely should check this spot out if you haven’t yet."
"As a frequent visitor to 1636 North Restaurant, I can confidently say that the food is consistently phenomenal. The portion sizes are always top notch, ensuring I leave feeling satisfied. The staff's warm and personalized greetings, with a pleasant smile and remembering my name, make every visit even more enjoyable. Whenever you find yourself in the downtown area, don't miss the chance to indulge in a remarkable dining experience at 1636 North for dinner or brunch on the weekends."
"Steak is ok, the quality of meat can be better. But you can’t beat $30 for 14 oz. Cajun fries is ok as well."
"The food here was outstanding! Small local business where you can tell the people here care! Just look at the pictures of my food! I love the liberal use of truffle throughout the menu. I had the lamb and my server informed me it's only cooked all the way thru, no way to order mid-rare but suggested I get it anyway if I like lamb. Boy was she right. The marinade did that meat right! Very juicy and tender. Salmon cooked to perfection. Lovely plating technique. We'll be back to try more food!"
