"I have been eating Hykel's hoagies for over 60 years and like to consider myself somewhat of an authority on the subject- I just had one today while watching the Eagles game. Pretty incredible to hold it together for that long! Order an American Hoagie- trust me on this - the perfect blend of meats and cheese, lettuce tomatoes and chopped onions, on a Conshy bakery roll. Still the one I compare to when testing any other hoagie . Regarding the score- I go to Hykels for a hoagie, I don't care about the atmosphere or service, not that it's bad, it's just not why someone would go to Hykel's Bar."

"Staff is very friendly., but I don't like it when you see the menu or drinks menu, price disappeare. At some point when you can't​ see the prices of the menu or each drink, you get a feeling of abuse. They can improve their deck. Hamburger and homemade brownie was very good."

"I've been going to Hykel's since I was a teenager. I moved away to Miami years ago and came back home to visit family. It's a great neighborhood bar and grill. This was the first cheesesteak I've had in almost 3 years because I refuse to eat them in any other area other than the Philly area. This cheesesteak was amazing. Full of perfectly cooked meat, nice soft roll and piping hot. The order of fries was almost too big to finish... But I did. Same with the hoagies. I had a roast beef hoagie a few days later and it was stuffed with roast beef and fresh lettuce, onions and tomatoes. The roll was soft and fresh. Overall experience. You won't be disappointed with the food and the service here."

"We love Hykel's! It's perfect for a casual bar experience with great service, and outstanding food. The back deck is so fun in the summer, we love heading here with friends for beer and wings. The wings are amazing! The perfect sweet and spicy combo. I can't recommend this place enough."
