"We had the pleasure of working with Affordable Stucco Services of Delaware for our Stucco, Windows, and Carpentry services.  We are very pleased. I highly recommend them. Due to water damage, we needed to repair the stucco on our home.  What appeared as a minor problem became a large-scale project.  We learned about the value of having a "moisture test" to assess the areas that might need to be addressed. This reduced the total project expense significantly. The stucco color and texture were a great match with the stucco that was in good shape.  We didn't need to redo the entire front of the house as expected. Based on the test results, Chris was able to prepare a plan highlighting each area of the front of the home based on a picture and then itemize the steps to remediate. The project consisted of removing the stucco near the windows, and underlying wooden studs, plywood, and insulation.  This was complex since the dining room corner facing the outside needed to be rebuilt from scratch for both the 1st and the 2nd floors. The plywood under the stucco was also damaged, removed, and replaced. The wall insulation and drywall completed the job. I was happy to learn they were able to perfectly match our paint color using a small paint "chip" from the wall, and computer scanning it at the paint store.  You would never know we rebuilt the room! Along the way, Chris explained the best practices for installing windows on a house. It was obvious that the original builder didn't follow many best practices and proper county inspection codes causing water damage under each window in the front of the house. Chris recommended that we replace the front windows to reduce potential water damage since the windows were already over 20 years old and the flashing was never installed.  Now was the time to replace the windows.  In 2022, tax energy credits are available and we will apply them to our 2022 taxes. Hopefully, we will receive a credit (refund). Having a single quality contractor, Affordable Services of Delaware, to coordinate all the different specially-skilled resources was convenient.  I felt Chris and Steve really cared that we were satisfied.  They were great about communicating the work schedule so we could prepare in advance since my wife and I work from home most of the time.
