Reviews
"Trails through the woods, around a pond, along small creeks. Some are woodchipped. Some muddy areas. Very peaceful and beautiful. About 1.2 miles if you do all of the non-paved trails. Also a paved/gravel walking path. Connects to the Creek Trail but we couldn't find how. Playground, portable toilets."
"This park is notable for having a historic mansion and related structures on its grounds, which are really cool to see. Nice trees on the grounds also. There is a playground with a Porta pottie, long walking trails, and athletic fields which are removed from the mansion and playground parts of the park and have their own closer parking lot. Parts of the trail here go into the woods and it's a more rustic experience than other parks. Just be warned that the trail is not paved in a number of places and is not well marked, so at times you might wonder if you're on someone's private home property or you might have to cut across lawn to pick up the trail. If you want to walk here, wear good shoes, don't bring wheeled anything and be prepared for gravel/ mud/ grass in some segments of the trail."
"Nice and interesting park. Some equipment for.kids and nice walking trail. Beautiful old mansion house on the property."
"Had a blast at this place. Loved the historic nature of the buildings. Only complaint is the playground quality isn’t the best. It was very muddy days after a rain. We had a nice picnic. There were ample tables in the pavilion. Looking forward to coming here many more times."
"Beautiful mansion situated in a park setting with hiking/biking paths. There is a children's play area, pond and many benches along with a covered eating area."
