"Kells Park is a local park for the local folks. There is limited parking on the street to compliment the parking lot. You can practice tennis, run/walk along a trail, or get permission to use the installed grill. Che k with City of Newark."

"I've visited Kells Park a few times over the years with my children as toddlers, school aged, and now my husband and I brought the dogs for a walk. I always found parks like Kells Park more manageable when my sons were young and would tire out if walking more than 1 mile. The playgrounds were not too large and if they decided to sprint away from us, it felt like you could catch up with them quicker than inside some of our other favorites throughout New Castle County. So, it has its positive points, but I do wish over the years more planning included sculptures, gardens, or even some benches could have been added to the walking trail."
