Reviews
"Nice, big, clean, kid & dog friendly, great walking trails, clean non porta-pottie bathrooms, pond to fish in."
"One of our favorite places! Lots of options for an easier walk around the pond or a more challenging trek up hills or off the paved path by the creek. Lots of people walking their dogs and a doggie play area by the community garden."
"Good trails for running or walking (maybe biking too), some hills but nothing too bad and all either paved, gravel, hard packed dirt, or short grass. There’s a pond, dog park, and playground plus regular stuff like bathrooms and free parking. All in all a pretty nice park."
"Very nice park. Nice corals for dogs to run loose as well as paved and dirt trails for walking, jogging and biking. Terrain and scenery vary from open fields to wooded trails. Playground for younger children"
"A wonderful park. The 125-acre park is located on the West side of Wickerton Road (Route 841) and stretches from the intersection of State Road down to the intersection of East & West Avondale Road. Park has a unique playground, community garden, fishing pier, with handicapped accessibility, two dog park, a solar powered composting rest room, an extensive trail system with stream crossings a water garden and bat house."
