"We always get a round, sometimes 2, in when down on vacation. We come down in September so we have none of the summer crowds to play around. Fun and fairly challenging course. Different lines, open and wooded. Water carries and mosquitos. Always an enjoyable round when in the area."
"If you are looking to play disc golf on a busy zoo day while your family checks out the animals, you're probably out of luck. In order to make use of the park, many fairways are also overflow parking areas that are needed more often than you might expect. However, if you get there when the park opens (but before the zoo opens), or swing by in the evening, you will find a thoughtful, sometimes challenging course with some tight lines and fun shots. It is well laid out and easy to navigate. Perhaps not a destination course, but a lot of fun if you are in the area!"
"I have done a lot of frisbee golfing in my days. This course was the worst I’ve ever played. You are playing through parking lots full of cars most of the time. Plus there are walking trails that go all around the course. People are always in the way and I couldn’t even play 5 holes due to all the cars parked on the fairways. I love the sport and yes there were some great holes. But it’s way too congested with people and cars to play."
"Stars would be more but some hole needed to be thrown through picnic areas and parking lots"
"The disc golf course was pretty fun. I played with two other people and we found it challenging. Two of the holes go right over a decent amount of water and luckily nobody lost their discs. Although it was a little bit nerve wracking for sure. The course layout is confusing in the beginning but it clears up after the first five or six holes. We also wish that the baskets weren't used for multiple holes. Other then that the holes are a nice distance and vary quite a bit. We had fun and there were only a few other groups we saw in passing. We'll definitely be back again!"
