Cape Henlopen Disc Golf Course

"Course was super fun! 18 holes of Medium-Hard difficulty with lots of trees and bushes to navigate through. There’s a lot of sand so plan accordingly. Start pads look new and paths to next baskets all well marked. Some baskets were hard to find from the start pad but a course maps, at the hole, helped a lot."

"I recently was at Cape Henlopen Disc Golf Course which sponsored the "Race 4 Warriors" Run that supported Veterans who served in the Middle East. Great Event that collected food and donations. Great day at the park in support of Veterans. Thank-you to all the volunteers for making this happen."

"A decent course overall. However the signs need repair. It is very confusing getting from Tee to Tee. I had a photo of the map from the beginning of the course which I used to navigate the course. There just need to be more signs near the basket of each Tee letting you know which direction to walk to the next Tee. The other problem was each hole had 2 or 3 Tee of Platforms. This meant it was hard to figure out which Platform went to which hole, especially when the holes were close together. It was a fun course, but the sinage needs some TLC. I took a photo of a good sign and a bad sign."

"Unique disc golf course in the center of Cape Henlopen State Park, have played it now twice. It's wide open enough for people of all skill levels, and is well maintained. Red, White and Black tee boxes, some actually 400+ feet long, winding through the dunes and pine trees. You'll get some sun if you do all 18 (actually 19) in the summer, so plan accordingly!"

"Where else can you play a round of Disc Golf on the sand dunes and pines at the beach and when done walk several hundred feet and swim in the ocean?....Fun challenging course, don't play barefoot wear sneakers or sandals to be safe. Don't forget the bug spray....Discs can be purchased at the Nature Center which also supplies scorecards with a course map. Hit chains and have fun...."
