"Anyone that filed 2019 tax return with them not receive their 2nd stimulus? They say they send their returns straight to the irs....no turbo websites or anything but I still haven't received mine? Same bank info same everything and still nothing???"

"DO NOT COME HERE. AVOID AVOID AVOID. This was the first time I paid someone to do my taxes instead of doing them on TurboTax. Let’s start with the price. I called ahead to schedule an appointment and they gave me a price estimate of roughly $75-$100 to do my taxes. So I schedule my appointment and go in. I explain to the gentleman that I’m nee to this and need some help and he assures me that he’s been doing this for 27 years and that I’m in good hands. So we go through the process of doing my taxes and guess what! I hand him my 1099-Q and he’s never seen this paper before and has no idea what to do with it. So I sit around for an extra half hour while he GOOGLES what to do with it. Aren’t you the tax expert? Then after all my taxes are done, he told me I would be getting money back and that the only way I would be able to get that money was through a check sent in the mail from the government. Me, never having made money off of my taxes before, believed him. Before I left, obviously I paid for their service and time. He told me the price was going to be $174, about $100 more than the estimate! When I got home and called my mom a couple hours later I found out employee lied to my face about my only option being a check in the mail. And so I called back and they told me there was nothing they could do. The employee asked if she could put me on hold to speak with a manager, I said sure. Instead of putting me on hold she set the phone down, allowing me to hear her talking about me with her manager, explaining how I was “whining” about my taxes. When I was on the phone with the manager, she explained to me that it “was not her fault” because she wasn’t the one to do my taxes. Well being the manager means you are responsible for your employee’s actions. I guess she doesn’t understand that, which makes me question how she got to be a manager. 100% recommended going ANYWHERE but here."
