Reviews of La Tentacion Pizza & Mexican Grill
"I was here to get dinner with my girlfriend and I ordered a chicken burrito. It was more like a wrap than a burrito. It was nothing but full of lettuce. Tasteless, old chicken. It was absolutely disgusting and the second I took a bite, I couldn't swallow it. When I told the waitress about this, she got the manager, but neither of them would do anything about it like reimburse me or get me a different meal. Just absolutely horrible customer service. Then after being told that we would not receive a different meal or be reimbursed, they were very rude to us. Horrible food, horrible service. I hope a what they call a $15 burrito was worth it, because I will never go back to the."
"Stopped in here after my girlfriend picked up keys to her new place just up the street. I've seen La Tentacion's menu online and I've wanted to try this place for a while. All of their ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were mostly amazing. There were a couple of things that were absolutely well prepared, but not to our taste. We were experimenting, an we learned -- it's all good. Highlights were the Pico de Gallo appetizer and the Steak Enchiladas. They were generous portions, had great flavor, presentation and texture. The Scallops Ceviche was a surprise, in that the scallops were served chilled and sliced, which wasn't to her liking. The citrus dressing and the corn compote that accompanied had great flavor and were excellent. The Queso Fundido with chorizo sausage had a marvelous flavor, but could be creamier. Our server was prompt, friendly and attentive. Our meals came out quickly. Couldn't be happier with the service. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Can't penalize them for new things we tried that there was nothing wrong, we just didn't enjoy it. Hey, that's why you try new things, to see what you like and what you don't. This is just up the street from my girlfriend's new house, we'll definitely be back!"
"Food was tasteless. Asked for hot sauce was told it’s 4.00 per sauce after spending 100 bucks already. The carnitas, steak burrito(almost all rice and lettuce) and steak quesadillas were completely flavorless. Also got pizza, wings, chicken tenders, fries and mozzarella sticks. The fries was the best part and they were oily and limp. Pizza literally showed up mostly burnt and flavorless. Taco Bell would be a major step up."
"Nice fiesta vibe and a BYOB, which is always good. Got the Chimichanga and she had the Chicken Tostadas. Reasonably priced, but the service was not that great, possibly short staffed. We waited for at least 5-7 minutes before anyone even came to our table. I saw other tables 10 minutes after they sat before anyone greeted them. Luckily the food made up for it as well as the bring your own Margheritas"
"Absolutely disappointing! First and last time eating at this restaurant. Lunch was chosen on their “dinner” menu. My husband & I ordered the fish tacos & shrimp tacos. Food was below mediocre & presentation was poor. At the price we paid, chips & salsa would have been nice with our meal. We were shocked when we got our bill that we were charged $10 for two (2) ice tea’s. I pulled our server aside and explained our disappointment & also mentioned the charge for the ice tea’s. Her only reply was, “ice tea’s are $5 each”, (without any lack of care coming from her). It would of been nice if she had said, I understand & thank you for your input. That’s all we were expecting!"
