"I usually never leave reviews, but the food here was so good I felt compelled to leave one. I’m a big fan of Mexican food and this place did it right. The queso fundido with chorizo was the best i’ve ever had. It was served with four warm flour tortillas as well. We also got the campechano ceviche which was definitely unique and tasty. The carnitas tacos were also so delicious. I could immediately tell the corn tortillas were handmade fresh and the server confirmed it when I complimented the dish. I also loved the cocktail menu. I’m a big fan of mezcal and got a mezcal margarita that was perfectly mixed. Margaritas are usually hit or miss in most places bc they tend to use cheap sour mixes that make them taste overly artificial but this one was fresh. I also tried their old fashioned which has reposado tequila as well as mezcal which was a very unique mix. Ambience was also perfect for a saturday night out. Not too loud and lights and decor set the perfect mood. If i didn’t live in NYC this would be a go-to place for me. Definitely give it a try!"

"We came at 4:30pm on a Monday during happy hour after going to the Mütter Museum and it was maybe 5 minutes to get our food which was delicious! They came out so fast and we were so hungry we didn’t get pictures of the food, but we got the hibiscus margaritas for $6 each, chicken tacos for $3 each, the special “small bites” which was some sort of empanada, and the Chicken Pastor Burrito from the main menu. The salad on the side of the burrito was so good they put like juice on it. Everything was super fresh and amazing. The service was also top notch. We always had full glasses and our plates were cleared at a respectable time after finishing a plate (we had several rounds of happy hour tacos). The bill was $50 for the both of us with lots of tacos and margs! 10/10 would recommend and would come back."

"Had a great weekday happy hour dinner here. Portions were on the smaller side, but the prices were great, so easily compensated with ordering one extra order. Small dish of the day was a chorizo quasadilla which was fantastic. I've had better tacos, but I can't complain with theirs either! The atmosphere was great, and the staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. For example, when walking out the restaurant, the front lady was on the phone, and she took the care to say "hold on one second" on the phone just to tell us thanks for coming in and to have a good evening. Generally a good experience, and would recommend. Wouldn't hesitate to come back another time!"

"Verdict: Recommended Really enjoyed dining with its quirky interior and upbeat staff. Food was alright. Had the Brisket enchilada and the guava margarita. Both were good and reasonably priced. The place was a tad dark but not a deal breaker at all. Overall great place to come for some good mexican food and drinks."
