"By far the worst family dollar I ever been to the manger is EXTREMELY RUDE bought A toy for my daughter but was unable to purchase cuz a error on they end the item scanned for 99 cents so manger told me she cannot sell it and threw it in the trash right in front of my 4 year old daughter who started crying! SO THAT IS WHAT WE ARE DOING NOW IN THE UNITED STATES THROWING AWAY PERFECTLY GOOD TOYS RIGHT IN FRONT OF CHILDREN CUZ IT SCANNED FOR 99 cents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND THE ONLY REASON THE MANGER GAVE ME WAS BECAUSE SOMEONE ELES MIGHT HAVE BOUGHT IT AND FORGOT IT SO THAT IS WHT IT SCANNED FOR 99 cents AND SHE HAD TO THROW IT AWAY AND DID SO RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY 4 YEAR OLD!! ALSO WHY PUT IT BACK ON THE SHELF???????? SO RUDE I WILL DEFINITELY BE FILLING OUT A COMPLAINT WITH CORPORATE!!!"

"This particular stores appearance had been clean, tidy and organized, The store personal were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The store merchandise/stock seemed quit low"

"I'm not sure when exactly it happened, but employees changed and not for the better. If you have customers waiting to check out, they shouldn't have to wait 10mins or more for the employees to finish their conversations with friends. Seems to happen every single time i go there for the past 5-6 months. I don't mind if an employee is having a conversation while checking me out. But, I do mind standing behind their friend and waiting over 10mins without being acknowledged or checked out."

"The cashier who I assume is also a manager was extremely rude and nasty. She was yelling at customers and took issue with me personally. I purchased 3 items. Dog food at 5 cans for 3. A different brand at 2 dollars and dish washing detergent at 2 for 5 dollars. It was a grand total of 10 dollars. When she rang the items it didn't discount the 5 cans for 3 dollars and was 10.25. I explained to her that the sign stated 5 for 3. She said ma'am it 10.25. unfortunately I only had 10 dollars on a Visa gift card. She stated again that it rang up 10.25. I told her that the signage stated 5 cans for 3$. She tried to void it but could not bagged the items and then said I owe her 22.00. I said to her " no ma'am" I owe you 10.00. After several attempts to correct the transaction she merely charged me for just 4 cans of the dog food. I said to her " thank you very much. She looked at me and did not respond. I reiterated my thank you again and she once again stared me in my face with no response. These behaviors are totally UNACCEPTABLE. I consistently shop this neighborhood store and am usually pleased with the savings I get from the larger stores in the area. As consumers we should not be subjected to this type of rudeness."
