"Paul is an excellent professional, he always helped me and explain really well everything! The problem this year is that I have some payments to do (I need some guidance since he put in the system to do a automatic withdraw which never happened)and I am trying to reach him at the office so many times and it is impossible! I left messages through the H&R block portal and he hasnt respond as well! But the worst thing was just now, I called and the person rudely hang up on me while I was talking! Keep in mind, this will be perfect if you don’t encounter any problems while filling your taxes however if you need any further assistance they really dont do anything to help you! Very unprofessional due to the price charged and definitely not coming back!"

"You would be better off filing your own taxes than to spend money here and file wrongly. Seriously incompetent people are employed and charged exorbitant fees. I had to go through the returns by myself and correct a lot of mistakes they did and still they make mistakes. Time is not honored and they attend us late and they dont start the application before your appt and they do it in hurry and make a lot of mistakes. Not going to use HR Block from now onwards."

"I was working with David on my 2020 tax return. I live in Philadelphia but work for a California company. When I entered David's office, he took one look at my paper work and immediately declared "Sorry to deliver bad news". He had determined that I did not pay my local taxes. They weren't deducted in my W2. He ended up filing a return for me in which I now owe several thousand dollars. After getting a 2nd opinion it turns out California has an agreement with PA. And there's no need to deduct local taxes. All and all, bad experience. David did not take the time to look over my papers properly. Very unfortunate, but what can you do? Personal recommendation if you like to keep your money, stay away.. Oh yeah and they also charged me $400 for the filing fee. Extremely expensive considering its free online (or $150 with assistance). Update: H&R Block posts generic replies to critical users. Pointing us to the customer support number for more assistance (like we didn't know that option exists). Thanks for nothing."
