"Don't go to Clark. I've been going to him for a few years now and every time there is allways an issue. First when I do it I somehow allways owe money every then a week goes by and he calls me saying conveniently "a new law passes" where I get more money back. He lies. Then last year I got audited and owed 1,500$ from one of the years he helped me file. So when I go there for his help, he is now too busy to answer or return my calls or even help me in person. He literally told me he does not have time to help me even though that's one of hr blocks services and why we pay so much for them to file. It took me weeks up to the day before the $1,500 was due to get it straightened out all without his help. I canceled this year and yet they continue to call asking to reschedule. No"

"These folks absolutely screwed us, and we paid the ‘we stand by our filing’ fee. And then they didn’t. We asked if we could come in and review so we could get their help, they said they were busy, and could squeeze us in. Then they went back on every promise. We had to deal with it entirely on our own. Ended up having to refile ourselves, which defeated the purpose of using them in the fist place. Get turbo tax folks, we will never will darken their door again. I won’t list names. However every person we dealt with, blamed us for not giving them the proper information- that they never asked for! Until it was a mess. First year married? They didn’t review anything with us. The IRS had treated us with more concern than this clown show. Pay now and we’ll ditch you later. Don’t waste your money or time. They don’t care. Funny you posted a response H&R, after a bad review. But no response when we needed you. Thanks, but after years of using you, we will never return. You absolutely screwed us! No thanks."

"Clark is the best. Even though it's quite pricey, he knows exactly what to do to get me the most he can. I'm sure u everyone else is great too, but I have always requested Clark to do my taxes and gets me in and out as quickly as possible and also gives advice on filing for the new year. I would recommend him to everyone. The past couple of years I went to him ever since covid and all these tax credits which made it a little confusing. I use to use turbo tax but have not felt comfortable the past couple years, and I knew Clark in Salem would make sure it was correct. I put all my faith into him as I know he's an expert."

"I would give them no stars if possible!! I have never used H&R Block before and would never use them again!! I would not recommend them!!! Don’t go here !!! I had my taxes filed back in February of course they took the fee from my refund!! I received my federal taxes with no problem!!! But my state taxes I never received!! I have called the state numerous times I have been to the H&R Block numerous times and I keep being told I was missing something but it’s fixed now! The state to this day says My state taxes still have not been done properly!! First I was told they never received anything at all!! They are playing with me and my children’s personal information!!! And I paid for a service that still needs to be done!!!"
