"Food was alright. Will recommend the squid ink pasta and short rib pasta. We were surprised that the waiter charged us 20% tips for a table of 3. We were not told the 20% gratuity before the meal and it is not listed on the menu. The food was good but the service did not worth 20%."
"Made a reservation weeks ahead for a birthday celebration, but this place did not seem to care. The seating we got was very awkward. We requested a seat against the wall but they insisted on keeping them empty while seating us in the middle where we were constantly bumped by everyone walking by. We went ahead and order. The service was great despite the uncomfortable seating. I got the daily special pasta and daily special main dish, which is lamb. Both are great and I particularly like the lamb dish that you need to wrap with herbs and some kind of yogurt. Brussel sprouts and mussels seee also great for appetizers. The bread tasted quite burnt. The dining experience was not bad but nothing stood out. Due to their inability to accommodate customers reservation. I don’t think this place is worth coming back."
"The best cacio e pepe I've had in Philadelphia. I also tried their tortellinis that are stuffed with mushroom, mascarpone and ricotta that I really liked but was a bit salty for me. The Pistachio Panna Cotta was the show stealer that almost made me forget how long I had to wait there to get a table on a Wednesday night! Good cocktails as well."
"Pretty good, I’d say. I ordered the ravioli and an Italian beer. The beer was great and the ravioli quite flavorful, though it seemed just a touch pricey for the portion. It also came out very slightly on the crisp side, though it certainly didn’t suffer for that."
"Tried out Ambrosia with some friends on a Sunday evening. We sat outside in their large amount of on street seating and had a good time. While it is BYOB, drinks options were also available if wanted. Service was great throughout with congenial service and recommendations. In terms of food, the menu was fairly standard Italian options with a nice variety which should cover most people's food choices. The dishes we got were solid overall, however my general issue was a lack of spice/flavor. With that said - I would come back if my friends wanted to."
