"We did the OC Rocket, Assateague Adventure, and Duckaneer. The captains and mates were excellent!! Well worth the cost. We had so much fun and are thankful we took these adventures!"
"Did both the fishing and assateague boat tour - absolutely loved our experience. The fishing 2 hour experience was perfect for my family as we are all beginners. Luke was great at helping us when we needed it. The assateague expedition was interesting -our favorite part was using the nets while wading through the water . Thank you for great experiences !"
"Awesome place to do water activities! Has boat tours, jetsking, parasailing, and more. Went on the Assateague Island Tour with and had an amazing time. Staff and captain were awesome, very friendly, and informative about the things we rode past, such as docked boats, restaurants, animals, the island itself, and more! We were also able to get off the boat and hunt for shells at some point, which you are allowed to keep. Overall, I had a great and educational time learning about a bunch of different things as the tour went, and I highly recommend going."
"We got tickets for the OC Rocket. Amazing ride. Just be prepared to be soaked! Great views and very nice ride. ONE BAD Thing is the parking I was parked in the lot on the end of the street. Very very tight. Trucks are too big in there and make it nearly impossible to drive through. I was in my lines and no where near the others cars when I parked but when we came back the 2 cars on either side of me parked over the lines. My daughter had to climb through the back to pull the car up so we could get in. I don't know how people next to us got of their car. Parking is very bad. If you are staying in OC take the bus to it."
"We did the Assateague Island Adventure Boat Tour. Steep pricing $65 with two seniors, two adults, one child and one infant (with coupon). The pros: -Wonderful interactive experience - stopping on Assateague and receiving nets for children to scoop up animals in the water was fantastic. -I also believe we got to see a part of Assateague that you normally couldn't get too. -Onboard touching experience with whelks, spider crabs, horse crabs and more -Onboard restrooms -Onboard feet washing after walking in sand. Areas of improvement -We started calling at 8am on Wednesday and got no answer. Had to continue calling every 15 minutes or so. Did not get any staff until 9am and was immediately put on hold for more than 10min. I finally hung up. (You need staff answering phones earlier.) -We finally got a hold of a live person and they had they could not go out unless they had at least 6 adults and our party only had 4 adults. They weren't even sure the 10am or the 10:30am would be going. (The minimums should be listed in your ads and websites.) -We explained that we were on 98th and it takes 20-30min. for us to get down to Talbot Street and we had an infant with us - so we couldn't leave on a dime. So the staff told us to call again at 930am and see where things were. So we did just that and were told to "come on down." When we arrived the boat was already gone. Fortunately, it wasn't long to wait for the 10:30am tour. (Clear communication would have solved with confusion.) -The same company owns the Assateague Island Adventure and the OC Explorer which seems to be the same cruise. But launches from two different streets (thankfully, a block apart). Your advertisements and websites don't really make this clear and there are different phone numbers listed on different ads. -Finally, when doing the onboard touch experience, the staff used kids to bring around the animals. Which is a great idea in theory and adorable. But the crowd noise was such that we could no longer hear anything the staff said. So turning up the speakers would have helped. I would have like to hear more about the animals we were seeing."
