Luigi Vitrone's Pastabilities

"I visited Luigi Vitrone's Pastabilities last night for the first time with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday, and all five of us were absolutely in love with this little restaurante, we could not stop singing its praises hours after we left for the evening. You can really feel all the love and care that went into creating everything here, from the unique and cozy atmosphere to the homemade pasta on the menu. LVP does not cut corners with ANYTHING! Luigi himself is very kind and greeted my party at the door, and our waitress for the evening, though I cannot recall her name, was fantastic and really made my group feel welcome, comfortable, and at home. While the restaurant boasts an intimate atmosphere, every aspect of food and drink packs big and impressive flavors, it really is like homecooked Italian food at an elevated level. I cannot recommend LVP's enough, and I will be spreading the word!"

"Pastabilities quickly won me over with their fun, funky, charming, cozy atmosphere, excellent service and outstanding food. Everything is made to order with fresh ingredients, and it definitely shows. Luigi's food tastes like my Grammom made it."

"The food was excellent, the Waitress was very good as well. The atmosphere reminds me of being In an old closet where you throw a whole bunch of old Hotspot. Was taken back. That you need to make reservation. When the place looks like this. But the food is authentic. Would have been better if I took it to go."

"Portions were generous but the food just wasn’t good. We ordered 2 apps and 2 entrees and had a couple bites of each and threw the rest away. The meats in the antipasto weren’t fresh, the arancini had bleu cheese (what?!!), the sauce had large pieces of onion, and while he may season it himself, it’s absolutely from a jar or can. If you call that homemade, then ok, but it’s not truly homemade if it comes from a jar or can…even if it’s a jar of whole tomatoes."

"Place was Fantastic! Very small Italian Restaurant in Wilmington, around 7/8 tables. The Owner is the cook & Doris the waitress is a great server with great choices. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend making reservations."
