"The location is amazing. So many restaurants in the area. We had one of the landmark suites and the views were great. Especially since we got to experience snow! Very different experience than I’m used to in Atlanta. I enjoyed walking around the area daily and exploring the Adams Morgan neighborhood. The only issue was we went out expecting turn down service and they didn’t come, that was fine but we had put all the towels in a pile on the floor expecting fresh. We then had to call down 3 times for towels. The only reason it was an issue was because we had dinner reservations. But after about 90 months we received the towels. And maybe 30 min after that house keeping brought more. All in all it was great and we’d definitely recommend the hotel to travelers who lol I h explore hop areas."
"This is luxurious - the water pressure is the best I’ve experienced in a hotel and they offer sulfate free designer shampoo and other bath products. Sheets and bed are so soft and immaculate. Happy."
"One of the best hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. Great view of the area out of the numerous windows in the “District King” room. Tons of snacks, drinks, adult toys, etc available for use (purchase) in the room. Bed was comfy. They gave us a personalized card right after arrival since we were there celebrating our anniversary. The room was quiet and the outside street noise did not affect my sleep. We had the AC turned down to 65, but it felt like it was only 68-69. The cooling system may need an update. The lady working the front desk was not super warm or polite. She seemed uninterested in helping or asking if we had any questions. We did the $55 a night valet parking, as street parking was extremely limited. The valet parking is in the garage under the hotel, so that was a plus. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. I was impressed with the quality of the room for the price in this area. The bar and happy hour were fun and good prices. The bartender Liam made the best drinks. Joe was friendly. The pierogie appetizer was tasty."
"I was not happy with my stay. I had several concerns about the the hotel, including but not limited to the following: - The front desk area had carpets that didn’t seem to be well maintained, so the smell wasn’t that good. - The rooms didn’t seem to be well maintained, except for the bathroom. You can see all kinds of scratches and marks on the walls, on the bed frame, and other areas. This was not pleasant. - The breakfast options were limited. - The room bar didn’t have any tea bags (two or three complementary ones that are also filled daily), this was disappointing and also contrary to all other hotels I have stayed in the US and outside the US. - The hotel somehow lost/did provide me although I asked several times if they arrived, two shipments that arrived to the hotel under my name, then later claimed that it was returned because I didn’t claim them. The hotel Head of Sales, was not very cooperative with me in this matter when I communicated with her through email after I left the hotel. Bottom line, DO NOT SEND YOUR SHIPMENTS TO THIS HOTEL while staying, they are either unorganized and lost them or not trustworthy. That is my own experience. - Lastly, the room service was below average. Also beware that they charge “delivery service” when you order food or even just tea. I was not informed of this fee before ordering. Also, it’s the first time such a fee is added, although I have stayed in many different hotels across the US (with and outside the DC area). Overall, I would not recommend this hotel at all."
"This place is great. Goldilocks level satisfactory. The people who work here are kind and helpful, the food and drinks are beyond delicious, and the facility is comfortable and clean AND gorgeous. And I know it’s a hotel, but it’s one of those rare hotels where I feel like I found something really special, which, of course, I did. I love it here. Thank you!"
