"Recently visited Fins on 54 during Happy Hour. Bar service was better than last visit. Much improved! Food serving was also improved. Quality of food was good however we had family members return fish dinner because of taste and another got ill once returning to home. We had dinner and ordered take out. Took almost a half hour. By this time half of customers had eaten and left. The manager told my wife that the kitchen was slammed. NOT TRUE. The manager did nothing but double down on excuses. Very poor people skills. As a paying customer I expect professionalism and no excuses. After a reasonable wait for our food I expect management to say "LET ME LOOK INTO IT" not a bunch of excuses. The female manager needs retraining or fired. Second encounter with her. Very poor representative for Fins."

"Upscale casual with a very coastal feeling. My salmon was amazing and perfectly cooked( had to take a bite before my photo.) veggies were good but forgettable. My husband had blackened grouper with double veg. Fresh but forgettable. Great sever. Recommend!"

"Pros:Nice vibe with lovely server Paula. I had the Beet salad with Halibut. The lunch serves were smaller than usual but yummy. My friend didn't like her tuna salad as it was oily. We asked for the cake for our birthday girl and the banana walnut cake was a big piece and really good. Cons: we were a large group and most of requests was answered with no, including separate receipts, asking for extra side, snd it took a while for the lunch to arrive."

"The best and freshest oysters I’ve had in a long, long time. The ahi tuna nachos were light and very fresh. The lobster roll had huge lumps of lobster and was outstanding. The fried green tomato BLT was the low point, lacking flavor and barely had any bacon on it. The decor takes on the light, bright, and airy aesthetic. We will definitely be back."
