Reviews
"I normally read the reviews to any business I want to know about. There are positives and negatives in dog training, depending which way you look at it. Being in a desparate situation to have a dog trained is one to really think about and I haven't owned a dog for approx. 18 yrs. The owner of the dog is the ultimate best choice. There were no reviews posted on his site though, I found 3 reviews on another site. Red Flags. The owner informed me he trained all the canines in Delaware and Air Force One. He also has his full time job as well. He has equipment for training and obedience in his backyard. I talked to the owner and was given information of what to expect. He brought his clip board out and went over what to expect. I wasn't aware prior that he would be keeping the dog 2 weeks. I totally understand dog and owner need to be separated, but I struggled with this. I dropped him off he was 62 Lbs. I informed the trainer he is not a big dry food eater. He gets 1-2 cans of wet food in the morning and dry food left all day for him. He said he gets fed once a day, though he learned of what I said was true. I picked him up at 56 Lbs. I'm only stating true facts of what I went through. I was asked to call about every 3 days to get his progress report. Pictures speak for themselves. I picked him up and said to myself, "Where did all these welts come from and his hip bones are showing?" I did not receive a call. I was previously informed the trainers wife is a Vet Tech, so that might ease your mind. I took him home gave him Benadryl and gave him a bath. The welts subsided somewhat, but they started blooming around dinner time. I stopped eating and took the dog to Vet ER in Maryland. Dx: Allergic reaction to a spider or insect bite. Went home with prescriptions for Benadryl and steroids. Training bill was $1550.00. Vet ER bill $171.00."
