Red Brick Ale House

"I tried a few appetizers after going to the Coast Guard Graduation. The loaded fries bacon was not crunchy or crispy at all, more on the rubbery texture. The fries could have been cooked an extra 40-60 seconds. The nachos were a perfect size but lacked the toppings. Less than half way eaten there was no more meat. I don't suggest coffee. I did love that they sold bottles of alcohol. There were many different types and the prices were awesome compared to what I would pay in Virginia. I was with a group of around 15 people. I'm not sure why two people in my group received their appetizers like 30 minutes before anything else came out. Normally all appetizers no matter if it's the main course the person's eating or not they all come out at the same. Then entrees are served about 15-20 minutes later. I would potentially like to visit again to try other courses."

"Rented a house in Villas for the weekend and one of the neighbors recommended Red Brick Ale House. It was very busy, even though we went early, but they found room for us quickly. Ordered the rib eye which was wonderfully charred. 14 oz and not overpriced. Had a long conversation with one of the owners. Just a great local feel amongst those dining there. Quintessential community restaurant serving good food."

"This place keeps me coming back. Is it always perfect? No, but neither am I. I almost always get the red brick burger and it generally is very good. Fries or side salad are included and I usually go side salad to be lame and healthier since I’m always eating fries down here. The balsamic dressing on the salad, however, is top notch so maybe I’m not quite as dumb as I look. Here’s hoping. Cheers. Maybe."
