"The food was not that great. My grandmother ordered a Virginia ham with pineapple sauce. It was gelatinous and tasted horrible. The service was slow and sloppy. Our waitress forgot to put in our order and then kept bringing out the wrong food. The salad was bland and mushy. This place has seen better days for sure."

"I want to say something good about the food but I can't. Everything tasted like it was cooked in old grease. Good service though."

"Can’t beat a classic American diner on a gloomy day to make you feel like you’re in a Pulp Fiction movie. The BLT sandwich was perfect. Service from the wait staff was top notch. Would come here again to try the key lime pie!"

"I have stopped here for breakfast and lunch over the years passing through and the Harrison House Diner has never disappointed! The breakfasts are nice and filling and the lunch sandwiches have always hit the spot as well as the nice selections off the dessert menu. Waitresses are typically friendly and prompt with service as is the rest of the staff. It’s a nice diner type restaurant with decent food, I’d recommend to others passing through!"

"Well…what can I say? Ordered our food and my first plate had a hair in it and not so much as an apology from the waitress. My daughter ordered a grilled cheese from the kids menu but they forgot to grill the cheese. My second plate came out and it was an oily mess. I ordered a panini and it came on regular bread. When paying I got the standard question “how was everything” and I said what happened. There was silence and I was then told the total like nothing. Also prices seem high. $7.79 for a kids grilled cheese and $3 for fries on every dish. Lastly, we felt rushed from our waitress and towards the end of the meal we were told she was leaving for the day. Went to take my daughter to the bathroom in the mens room and one toilet didn’t have a seat cover and the other stall was locked from the outside and my wife had to take her. What if I had to use the bathroom?!"
