"The location in claymont the service was awesome! The women who greeted me, waited on me and was very informative about giving a little history of the store and it’s owner. The chicken was good, I’m from Philly so this was the closest to having good chain store fried chicken."

"One of the worst meals I ever had. The fried chicken was too salty. The fish was stale. The rice and mashed potatoes literally had plastic odor and taste in it. The potions were too small but I guess that was the only good thing because of its horrible taste large portions would have been such a waste If I could give no stars or -5, would give that"

"I had a bad experience here, today. I love soul food and I patronize many places in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware; so, I've been around when it comes to this. I found that the portions, here, are a bit smaller than what you would expect for the price. Hence, the reason I spent $70 on two people to get the weight up. The fish, though thin, was good. I, also, enjoyed the mac n cheese.......even though it was in meager increments. The fried wings were wayyyyyy too salty. The rice was overcooked and mushy. The red beans were tastless. I will not be going back there, for $70 my wife and I should be happy. There are other soul food restaurants (dine in and take out) where I'd much rather spend my hard earned money. "LOVE this local chicken joint! Beats the heck out of the major chain chicken places to be sure! Owner is wonderful to talk to and makes some killer chicken! Delicious side dishes as well. Sweet baked beans for the sweet tooth! Corn is delicious as well as the corn bread. No frills, walk in and pop your order and thank me on the way down to your appreciative stomach!"
