"My word. I have never had a passion quite like this. From the very moment the doors swing open, one's being is embraced by the allure of delightful attendees. Swiftly, you are engulfed in the charming affection and raw unbridled skill woven into the culinary creations. Let the barriers of trepidation and disdain crumble, and fixate upon the magnificence that is Wilma's. I shall frequent this establishment until my coffers bear no trace of coinage."
"My experience at Wilma's was mediocre. Starting off the atmosphere was not what I expected. The bowling ball alleys were very small and didn't live up to my expectations. Next, the service our waitress and the bartender were outstanding! No negative comments to that topic! Lastly, the food first we ordered the gumbo and red beans and rice. Never again. Me and my family are from New Orleans so we know what authentic creole food taste like. And this was not one of them. The broth was very unpleasant and the rice was undercooked. Next, the red beans and rice. Right off the bat it looked disgusting! We sent it right back to the kitchen 10 out of 10 DONT recommend. For me and my families meal we got the shrimp n' grits, catfish shrimp and grits, and the hot and honey wings. The shrimp and grits were surprisingly really good I liked the creaminess and the flavor to the sauce, also the shrimp were very well seasoned. The next plate was the catfish shrimp and grits. Same thing just with catfish. The breading for the catfish and shrimp was very good and I enjoying indulging in this dish. Lastly, the wings the sauce was very sweet more than hot, but it was pretty good. Inside the wings were very dry and not moist at all. What I will say is the smoky taste inside the wings is very pleasing. Overall, my experience at Wilma's was a solid 5/10 wouldn't come back, but if I did it would only be for the drinks. The bartenders skills are excellent!"
"Delicious drinks!! Also Had the alligator sliders, gumbo, BBQ surf and turf and beignets and Mississippi mud brownie it was all so good! Really delicious food and good vibe and environment would definitely return. Don’t pass this place up! Good Cajun places are hard to find"
"Loved the atmosphere and vibes of Wilma's! They have a little bowling alley for you to book a lane before or after you eat. The problem is, there are only 4 lanes, so they fill up very quickly, and if you dont cancel 24 hours in advance, you lose your money. The service was great and so were the drinks. The food was good, but not great, but because of everything else, I'd go back and try other things on the menu. The portions were good for the price. Overall, Wilma's is a definite recommend."
"We love it here so much. The waiters are always energetic and nice, and the food is amazing. I’ve brought my 10-11 month old niece with me both times and the staff were so nice to her while keeping up with their tables. The food is good too for the prices. I just wish they had a wider variety of food. Thanks Shay."
