"My girlfriend and I try to get here at least once or twice a month or get food to go. I'm not even exaggerating here...this place has got the best burgers I've ever had. Prices are more than reasonable, never had any problems with service, and the food is great! They have a nice little bar too if that's your thing. Can't recommend them enough for an affordable night out with great food!"

"This is a tavern so don't expect a menu like you will find at a restaurant. The prices are decent and the food is pretty good. With 30-50 bucks you will get more food than you can eat. Cool atmosphere and friendly. The parking might not be the easiest as you are in Downtown Right across of the Opera house"

"We went after visiting the Playhouse for a matinee on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. We entered a virtually empty restaurant at 4:30. We were asked if we had reservations and were told that they were booked. We sat at a high top in the bar area. While our service was fine, we couldn't understand why we could not sit in the restaurant. A table was seated after us. Our food was served, and sadly, my entree was dry and overcooked (sausage and peppers on foccacia bread). Then when our bill arrived, we had a 20% service charge added to our bill! Unfortunately, this was not the experience we had expected, and we do not think we will return."

"Found this spot from the local guide at the hotel I was staying at. The wait to be seated was approximately 5-6 mins. Once seated, it took 10 mins before our server Harrison came to greet us and take drink orders. He answered questions I had about the menu. I was still a bit undecided, so I asked him to give me 2 mins before I made my selection. Harrison never came back to take our order or wait on us the rest of the night. He sent a female coworker over to server us. I ended up ordering the brisket sandwich, which had a pineapple coleslaw mix on it. I don't eat coleslaw and ask for it to be made over again. The cook didn't make a fresh sandwich he simply scrapped the coleslaw off and sent it back out to me with the coleslaw in a separate bowl; smh. I expressed to the server that my party didn't enjoy our meals. She was kind enough to inform the manager, which came out and addressed our concerns and provided us with a discount. I expressed to her that her cook should've made the sandwich over instead of just taking it off because he didn't know if I was allergic to something in the coleslaw or not. If you're trying to consider eating here or not, I would recommend avoiding this restaurant because the food is sub-par, and the service isn't too far behind that. Plus, the establishment had nats flying around. One of their air vents doesn't have a cover on it. So customers are exposed to nasty black dust, and God knows whatever else. They also automatically add 20% gratuity to the bill. If you use your credit card, they charge you processing fees, which I believe is illegal for businesses to charge customers.
