"Haven’t been to the Tap Room in about 15 years so we decided to go back. Place is the same as it was - a casual bar/ restaurant. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We ordered a couple beers, Bloody Mary, littleneck clams, hush puppies, and some #1 crabs. (#1’s were the largest they had available) The hush puppies were very good as was the Bloody Mary but the clams were over cooked / dried out and the crabs seemed to be smaller than what I recall a #1 to be. All in all a good place to dine if you live relatively close."

"The service was awesome, hands down. The place is a little run down. I was in the bathroom, and my son came in, and I was exposed to people by the open door and urinal set up. The crab cakes were bland, and the corn had the most seasoning on it. The soda setup was weird were its cheaper to get a pitcher than 3 sodas. I am sorry but the food wasn't that good."

"We stopped in here on a whim, and left with bellies full after a great dining experience. Deb, our server, was incredibly kind and helped us navigate the menu. Tough ask of gluten free options in a joint that specializes in fried fish platters and sandwiches. I had the garden salad with broiled scallops - hearty portion with tender juicy scallops. Delicious! Our son did some damage on the mini corn dogs and not pictured is the crab cake sandwich He demolished it before we got a chance to take a picture, crispy crab cake that was well paired with tartar sauce and a brioche style bun. Cash only, not stuffy like many of the neighboring restaurants, just honest good food and kind service."
