"A pleasant evening; "Murder on the Orient Express". Limited staging and sets, well and cleverly used. Well acted roles, some hammy, some understated; the director gave the performers "their heads" and it paid off. Costumes excellent, adaptation likewise. Poirot's accent was okay, needing to be clipped and sharp IMHO, slipped into drawn and languid at times. Good use of location recorded setup sequence. Nice musical accents. Tiny (intimate) venue. Friendly, well trained staff. Varied inexpensive refreshments added a pleasant touch. Older audience; happily a few younger faces. A good local theater that works for and deserves our support. Our first time as we are new to the area, but we'll be back."
