"Went there to have a cut , specifically showed a pic with layers and they did a straight line cut thru the entire back, Honestly I feel getting customers in and out for tip money is how they service you! Beware people"

"I've been a customer for a few years, as has my wife and roommate. That's gonna have to stop today. (I think her name was Stacy. It was a 2pm appointment on 7/19) Stacy refused to cut my hair the way that I asked. I simply requested my sides be cleaned up with a size 3 guard, and a small area done in size 2. No real blending or shaping necessary; I was there for a quick job. After about 10 minutes (the stylists never really take more than 5), I had asked why this was taking longer than normally. She explained her process which included shaping and multiple extra guards to which I protested, again telling her what I wanted. She told me no, I'm wrong, and that she was a professional of over 35 years. (A point she had repeated more than once.) She then produced a clipper with a size 1 gauge. She told me she HAD to do the back and that she was a professional, again against my protests. I had to raise my voice to her to get her to stop cutting my hair against my will, and remove the cape. I'm not sure I've ever had to tell someone to stop in this way before, and I've never had to raise my voice in a salon. I tipped 3-5$ (depdning on the ever changing price of the clean up) solely because people deserve to be paid for their work, regardless of the shoddiness, or inattentiveness. A truly puzzling experience. When I wanted to contact the owner in lieu of writing a public review, I googled the store and found no email address. So, this will have to do. Edit: owner below literally lying. You have no listed price for clean ups, and I've been charged anywhere from 8 to 15 dollars solely on the whims of whomever was ringing me up. In fact, the last time I was there, I was told 10. Two dollars more than previous times, and two dollars less than what was quoted in the time previous to that. I still left 15, btw. Didn't mention that. Brow beat? She quite seriously refused to stop cutting my hair when asked. This is why you have to under charge for your services. Poor service. Good luck with your business lmao"

"I went to the cutting room knowing exactly what I wanted, when arrived, I was greeted by my stylist Niki with a warm welcome and a smile. Niki asked me what I wanted, and she made a suggestion I hadn’t heard as of yet by any other place Ive been to. I really felt like she knew what I wanted and her knowledge of color shown threw, my hair is finally what I’ve been asking for, I love my hair color 100%! And she’s sweet, talkative but not too much and just so down to earth. Lynee did a great job hiring her! Thank you so much Niki!"

"I have been going to the Cutting Room for years now because it’s the best. All the stylists know what they’re doing. I see Nikki regularly, but I have had a few other stylists do formal styles that looked awesome! Nikki knows what she is doing and will give you honest advice. She is great with color and cuts, and I’m super picky about how my hair is cut. She’s also just a downright lovely human and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you sit in her chair. The prices are so reasonable and I always look forward to my visit . Book here, you won’t regret it!"
