"If you're curious how much your rent will increase year over year, here is how it's been for me living in the 800sqft 1-bedroom Bedford. Initial Lease - 8/19/20 - $1,545 1st Renewal - 7/30/21 - $1,699 2nd Renewal - 7/5/22 - $1,864 3rd Renewal - 7/6/23 - $1,903 Current Starting 2/2/24 - $2,111 Projected Summer 24 - $???? Save you the math its averaging 10% a year and trending higher under new ownership. The appliances in the 1-bedroom units (2-bed Cambridge as well I believe - check with management) are old and outdated, so don't be fooled by the glass top stove images online, you're getting a coil top, as well as a small stacked type washer/dryer unit. The cabinetry is cheap and shoddily constructed. The whole interior actually makes you think nobody on the original construction crew brought a level to site or knew what one was. You should expect around another $75- $100 monthly fees on top of your base rent (pet count depending - yes, they remind you every month your pet is a dead beat). There is no getting out of the abysmal valet trash service. You'll soon likely opt to carry your own trash to the dumpster. While you're walking to the dumpster feel free to pick up some of the garbage strewn around the lot as I do. However, don't walk on the grass since it's highly likely you'll step in something you didn't plan on. You are sure to notice the first night in your new apartment that you not only hear but feel every footstep the tenant above you takes as they pace and prance around their unit in what seems like lead shoes. In addition, the stench of boiling chicken or whatever slop Margo and Todd are cooking in the unit below permeating your apartment for days is just something you'll have to get used to. During the spring and summer months, the Bar & Grille up the street has live music so depending on your proximity you'll get to enjoy that all night even with your windows closed. In my 3 1/2 years here I've had 6 different water leaking events. No issue with rodents although with all the bugs and spiders sometimes it might feel like you're camping outside with a hole in your tent. The buildings are just old, but some folks would call that character. The maintenance team is great but seemingly understaffed for all the revolving issues here. The gym is extremely small, so small you might as well be holding hands with the person next to you. I haven't been to the pool, but I read from another reviewer that you can swim with frogs which actually sounds pretty cool. If you like the area, there are more affordable and newer complexes with much nicer amenities to consider. What you mainly get here is an older beautifully landscaped setting with a private style entrance versus a newer barren property with a block style building. Moving in during the height of the covid hysteria I wasn't afforded a tour, but it's highly suggested you take a tour prior to making your decision. I hope I provided a few insights here that the tour won't show. BTW, this isn't Glen Mills, it's Chester Heights."

"One year later and the management office communication and customer service is as horrible as ever. Just terrible! I moved in 18 months ago, initially I enjoyed the location. There was an issue with the dryer, the maintenance and management team required a lot of nudging to make the repair. However, it was done and I overlooked their casual attitude about making the repairs. Fast forward to now, I have been strung along regarding an HVAC repair for over a month. I have had to use emergency heat I order to heat the apartment and there is no AC. The main office is concerned with “a cheaper estimate “ from a second contractor. That second contractor did what some contractors do - did not start when they said they would and did not finish. Meanwhile my rent increased. The customer service here is deplorable and while they are worried about saving money, they are taking more of mine. This explains why people are moving out in droves. The entire property management team that was here when I moved in has left. Save yourself some money like this property management company has and find another place to live."

"We LOVED our time at Madison Glen Mills!! The staff is very professional and helpful and they offer fun optional events. The apartments are beautiful and all have fireplaces. The community is all very nice and respectful of each other and it is a quiet, peaceful place to live. We were here almost two years and have never had any problems or regrets - only wish we weren't being relocated!"

"Just moved into the community, the leasing staff has been exceptional, the maintenance staff are very respectful and knowledgeable., they corrected the deficiencies I identified on my initial inspection in a very timely manner. The tenants i have met so far, are warm and friendly in welcoming me here. I would definitely recommend this facility and look forward to being part of the neighborhood."

"We recently moved into Madison at Glen mills for the third time. Through the years this is always been our go to when we have either move back to State or have sold a Home. I lived here back 23 years ago when I was in the police Academy, and now I recently retired from the police force and I moved back. We have several family members also who have lived here throughout the years and loved it! The Office staff is exceptional and kind. Maintenance is polite and hard-working and always wanting to help where they can. We recently had maintenance over to work on a few things and they all worked together and did a great job. We enjoy talking with them also! Our experience has been a positive one with staff. They work with you. I would highly recommend Madison a Glen Mills. The pool area is always well kept and clean. The grounds are beautiful. The units are big with plenty of closet space. We are hoping to make this a longer stay. A great place to call home."
