Reviews of Greens at Cedar Chase Apartments
"Beware of the 2 property managers Christina and Amber. They got fired from one office and now they are on to the next. They send fake notices to tenants, tow vehicles for no legal reasons, and break a lot of rules! Adding so many fees to rent bill that done add up! Over all they are Very unprofessional, so Keep all documents for proof and back up! Hope this helps the next person!"
"I don't know where to begin. first of all the recent reviews giving Ceder Chase Apartments positive reviews is laughable. Either they are being paid or delusional. this place is not only unsafe. It's overpriced and unclean. the appliances are outdated and don't work. maintenance does not respond to requests in a timely manner. the property is covered in dog feces everywhere. Not to mention trash and glass all over the property. The buildings have serious Foundation issues. there's rust all over the ground on the stairwell rusted beams dripping rust on your head when it rain. the beams are corroded that hold the building together. Literally fallIing apart. Im not sure how they are pass housing inspections. They have recently painted over the rust with white paint and covered the top of the ceilings with white plastic slides to cover up the Rusted corroded beams. The property managers have attitudes. I have seen at least 10 families move out within 3 months. in the last 30 days they have moved in 10 different families. and it has been fights and parties thrown 2 to 3 times a week.. cops called. the property definitely price gouges. It is not worth over $1,600 a month for one bedroom or over $2,000 for a two-bedroom. the amenities there is none. the fitness center is never open the pool is never open. what are we paying for? not to mention the apartments every time you take a step the floor squeaking and make noises. you can hear the neighbors walking and squeaking you take steps around apartment yours walking and squeaking. they're definitely a foundation issue underneath the carpet with the wood . makes me wonder if there's a mold issue. I cannot recommend anyone moving here."
"My husband and I moved here from nyc 3 years ago. These apartments are spacious, clean, the apartment manager is attentive to her tenants needs, and maintenance come at timely matter. For what it’s worth, I would definitely recommend cedar chase to those of you who are inquiring."
"I don't typically write reviews, but I feel that this must be said. This was my first experience renting as a college grad and I don't have much to compare it to, but nothing about living here was good. Even the excitement of being on my own did not compensate for my experience here. First, the apartments are in need of updates. Upon moving in I noticed that the kitchen cabinets had yellow stains and chipped paint, the sinks and showers were rusty and in need of replacement, and only two of the eyes on the kitchen stove worked. Maintenance requests were not fulfilled in a timely manner or were just never done if the job was considered too big. The sink in the master bedroom is completely rusted out, has been for months and still hasn't been repaired or replaced to this day so the apartment is more like a one bathroom. Rent upcharges are common without explanation. I lived in an apartment that was originally 1,300/month. The price went up to 1,600 without explanation and when I called to find out, it was just a random increase applied to the whole complex. I would never encourage anyone to spend their money here. I know that there is a housing shortage in Delaware, but you'd probably be better off and have a greater bang for your buck renting a small home from someone or trying another complex. If functional appliances, cleanliness, and maintenance is important to you, this place isn't for you. Also, the pool and fitness center have been closed since I moved in in 2020 and haven't opened almost three years later...I wonder how much the "amenities" factor into the rent price. What a joke."
