"Beautiful restaurant but horrible food... we had surf and turf for dinner. The lobster was fine, but the Steak was horrible, gristle filled, fatty, undercooked, and the actual meat was tasteless, and tough. No bread service, you have to pay for rosemary rolls (which I do not like rosemary). Looks good and paper, but paper tastes a lot better."
"came here for thanksgiving and the set up was cozy but it look quite a long time to order drinks and get the once they were ordered specially considering we were just 3 and had a reservation. the food was fine but nothing that really wow’d me considering the price and a steak house claim. that being said, it was a buffet style set up for thanksgiving so everything was somewhat a standard cook and menu. the corn croquets were pretty dry- could of at least used an aioli side- and considering how popular corn is in delaware it was a little shocking that was how they decided to prepare it. the tables were a bit cramped and the sun was directly in our eyes for half of dinner-some curtains or diffusers would really help this time of year. overall i would of expected a bit better service, and table spacing set up for the price but i had very high expectations. the staff was friendly and we still had a nice time. i’d like to see what it would be like non buffet/non holiday set up here."
"I had a mixed experience at Harvest Tide Restaurant. The service and staff were excellent, providing attentive and friendly service throughout the meal. My wife's steak was cooked perfectly to her liking, and she thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I was a bit disappointed with my ribeye, as it was overcooked, which was a letdown. The prices seemed a little on the higher side, and it's easy to rack up a bill of $300 for two people, which might not be ideal for everyone. On the positive side, the drinks were quite good they have an excellent bourbon selection like Blantons, adding a nice touch to the overall dining experience."
"I had an amazing time for my first experience. The food was absolutely delicious. We got surf and turf. Everything was made to order. And jalapeño margarita was great! I love the little touches they like bringing the check out in a cigar box."
"Quaint restaurant, very clean, and had live music tonight. The service was great. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu, including items that we not on the menu. We tried the Fig and Blu cocktail (martini glass pic) and a cocktail with bourbon and fig jam. Both were good. The fig and Blu were a bit confusing and tasted more like peach schnapps than fig. We both ordered a dry aged NY strip steak, which was incredible. Perfectly seasoned, a great sear and cooked to our liking of medium. They were served with garlic potatoes. We ordered the Brussels sprouts as a sharable side. This was our only negative to the night. The sprouts were not seasoned at all and definitely did not get as much attention as the steak and potatoes. We took a piece of their Smith Island 10 layer cake to go. Overall a great experience and we definitely recommend going. We will be back in the future!"
