Walgreens

"I'm a regular customer at this Walgreens and was in line at photo counter last evening and no one was available to assist which was fine. I was waiting patiently because the only other associate had a line up front. What disturbed me is that the MANAGER walked out from the back to leave, saw me at the counter, never acknowledged me and walked upfront to get in the other line to buy her own items. So here I stood still waiting. Fortunately another associate was coming in to work, noticed me at the counter and without even taking off her coat or putting her things down, readily assisted me in just simply handing me my photos. Walgreens has the wrong person as manager for this store. Gratefully associates like the one who readily assisted me are there to pick up the slack."

"My service dog started choking on a sweet chili dorito and the woman behind the counter jumped over it and gave him the Heimlich and saved little pistachios life. They provide great customer service."

"If there was a zero star option, I would certainly give it. This store’s pharmacy sets a new level of incompetence. Pretty sure it takes a great deal of education to become a licensed pharmacist, but apparently learning how to use a phone system in 2023 isn’t something that’s required. Was on hold for a collective 1.5 hours, hung up on over and over again (at least 6 times) after being promised they would get to the bottom of the problem. Needed an urgent medication filled (which they received last night) and got nothing but 1 app notification that they are “behind schedule” as of 1 pm next day. Just called Wildwood store and they said they can transfer it and have it ready in one hour. I would go ANYWHERE else in the future than Walgreens Rio Grande. They also screwed up my wife’s meds all summer long. STAY AWAY. AWFUL."

"I love Walgreens and buy items frequently. My husband has been using this Walgreens for years for hi prescriptions and the pharmacy staff are very helpful. The front store associate who was a young man was very polite and helpful as well. When I went to check out my items. A female associate walked to the register with a miserable expression ring me up.unfortunately after about 7 minutes of being told I can not use coupons that were given to me from Walgreens which every other Walgreens I have shopped at never had any issue with, since it is Walgreens policy and advertisement I couldn’t handle being there one more second. NOT because the associate obviously did it know her job at all, it was the way she spoke to me. I dealt with her horrible attitude and ignorance for as long as I could sue to her being older. However no matter what someone’s age is, She works in customer service and should definitely know the policies of the business she works for. All I could surmise was it was maybe it was too much for her to handle or comprehend. Horrible treatment and it should definitely be addressed."

"Definitely a staffing problem here. Hours of pharmacy reflect that issue. Staff is not very pleasant and assume that is due to work load. Had two scripts and after one day was told they had to order the main script I needed. Went to CVS in Cape May and it was filled in 15 minutes."
