Hotel Bethany Beach

"The hotel was a great experience. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Location was great, close to beach, boardwalk, restaurants, etc. The price/value was terrific. Would recommend this location for any couple and family."

"There's a $10 parking fee for each night. When you book on your phone, on their website it doesn't say that. They sent me a text the same day I was to check in making me aware that I would not have housekeeping services during my stay. If it was something I needed I'd have to pay $25. I had made my reservation weeks in advance, no one reached out and told me this. The room was clean and the hotel is located a block from the beach. I stayed 3 nights. There is a Walgreens right next to with within walking distance which was great. They offer a big breakfast and they switch it up every day. Overall I was disappointed in the lack of communication but the staff was friendly and the room was clean. I'd stay here again but I know to ask more questions the next time."

"We were looking for an easy beach vacation where we could bring our toddler and dog and this place was perfect for that. Tons of other families and the dog fee was only $150 for the whole stay (we were there a week so well worth it). The rooms were spacious and very clean, which is ultimately the one thing I care about most. You had free mini-golf on-site (with dinosaurs no less!), a pool (with a shower so you can go for a swim and clean up) and free chairs and umbrellas at the beach - a 6-min walk from the hotel. Free hot breakfast that although not gourmet was perfect for a family and always bustling (scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc). Give you beach towels as well. There's also a laundry room and they give you free detergent. The staff were awesome - nice and always eager to help - and were quick to bring you whatever you needed. The only downside is that you have to pay for house keeping, and that should be much clearer on the website since it's unusual for a hotel. You have to leave your towels, sheets, trash in the hall and they'll pick them up. Then either go to the desk or call up for replacements that you put back yourself (not a big deal for towels but annoying when half way through the week we wanted to refresh the bed). And it means you have to be super careful to not bring sand back to your room otherwise you are stuck with a sandy room or have to pay $25 for someone to clean it. We would gladly stay here again, lack of house keeping and all."

"The place was clean and the staff was great but the management engaged in fraudulent business. There were hidden fees and taxes that were never disclosed upon arrival, especially the daily parking fees which were added after departure. There’s a big parking lot next to the hotel which easily accommodates its guests but despite that, they charge $25/ night to park there. If we would’ve been made aware of that, we would’ve parked elsewhere. Read the fine print!"

"My boyfriend & I booked a room here very last minute and ended up having a great experience. My family was staying at the Sea Colony condos right across, so we wanted to find a place close. This hotel is a quick walk across the beach and located in the center of all the shops/restaurants/beach. The hotel public areas and rooms themselves were very clean and pretty modern. We never had an issue with parking, even during busier hours. All the staff were very friendly and helpful as well. They also provide vouchers for free chairs/umbrellas for the beach. Definitely recommend this place!"
