"Me and my sisters have went to this dentist for almost our entire life’s. When I was 9 I had to get teeth pulled and they didn’t give me enough of the thing that makes your mouth numb and I felt everything, following my mom had difficulties with the insurance and pay (idk the full story) but because of mental health I always had a hard time taking care of my teeth to the point where they were falling apart but they would only take care of 2 teeth at a time with 7 months in between appointments (for whatever reason idk) my very last appointment was an appointment to fix my tests and dr. Holdbrook kept laying his hand on my nose stoping me from breathing in the air that was used to calm me aswell as making it harder for me to breathe in general. We took a break when I started wiggling and I told the nurse. When we started again he put his hand on my nose again and in attempt to breath I tried to breathe through my mouth causing me to choke. They blamed that on my anxiety. When my mom found it the true story she removed me and my sisters and moved us to another dentist but because of the way they treated me I have ptsd with dentists which caused my mom thousands of dollars and me having to be put under anesthesia. After leaving we did also find out that what they told us about my teeth was actually not as bad as what they told us and when they filled in my teeth they left gunk in there causing cavities to form literally inside my teeth. Would not recommend this place to my worse enemy they seriously need to do a better job with communication with the staff and family and learn how to better handle children"

"there is such excellence here! They were able to do complete care for my autistic son having the availability of sedation at a surgery center has made our lives much less stressful and our experience is always great. I wont take my kids anywhere else in NJ!"

"If you want to wait and wait and wait this is the pediatric dentist for you! They do no respect your time at all. I had an appt. At 10:00 am and I wasn’t seen until 11:30 am. I had to ask what was going on with my sons appointment to get no explanation. Though the front desk is polite. The time you have to wait just ruins your experience at this dentist. They need to do better. I am searching for a better dentist for my son….."

"I booked here through my insurance (Horizon NJ) & was able to get an appointment pretty quickly for my sons first visit. I received confirmation texts for my appointment, & was instructed to confirm. The text recommended that we wear masks and the office provides them for a $1 fee. Booking, checking in, and being seen went smoothly. My son was able to be seen right away after checking in which was really nice. The office is at 499 Beckett rd. (It’s a new suite). It is such a fun and unique office, I wasn’t expecting that at all! The staff were so kind and the hygienist was patient with my son (he did really well for 3 years old, I think it was the space reflecting a fun environment and setting the tone that this was a cool place to be, not scary!) We didn’t have any dental issues so I cannot speak on those terms. I do recommend this place based on our experience. Other reviews seem to be very negative and I was worried, however for a first dental visit I give it five stars! This office is very clean and there was a nice waiting area with a tablet for games. Only thing I would say, the vending machine outside the office doors distracts my toddler with skittles LOL, I tried to avoid it but we ended our appointment with a big fit over candy. Pretty sure many parents can relate. Otherwise a great experience!"
