"Where do I even start… At first I was just hoping to be done with the overall situation and experience. It’s been a painful past couple of years physically due to the abscess and financially due to having to pay 2 people to do the same thing only 1 of them should of did it right the first time, and all over one tooth. I am no stranger to the crown/root canal procedure as this was my 3rd one and I have never had an experience like this. First I understand doing a core build up prior to the root canal. I understood the possibility of failure and ultimately knew a root canal was still possible. That’s what happened and Dr S ended up doing a root canal, I wasn’t happy that they were going to drill through the brand new crown but it had to be done. For a year it never really seemed to actually heal. I went back a couple times had X-rays and the Doc told me that the crown just needed to acclimate to my mouth and then after my final straw with the incompetent front desk rep I had enough of this place and went my separate way. So I thought it was over. Fast forward to now, less than another year give or take a few months later I went to another Dentist bc I was in excruciating pain. To my surprise something was going on with the work that had been done previously by Dr S. I had to go to an endodontic specialist and have the whole thing redone! I could have even just gone on my way after that and not come here with the review however it gets even better! So after the thousands of dollars paid to Dr S I find myself paying another 500 bucks to have his work redone, not even 2 years later! While having the work redone the Endodontic says you need to have your crown replaced and a core build up. I receive the estimate from the new Dentist, since I just had the crown done within the past 5 years insurance won’t even cover any of it! So now it’s gonna be $2500 more, they’re in the clear, you’re in the clear and I learned a costly and valuable lesson that not all Dentists are good at what they do and you even charged more to do it! Never ever again, over 5k on one tooth may have me mad enough to file a complaint to the Division of Professional Regulation and the Dental Board."
