Gallucio's Restaurant 1709 Lovering Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19806

"I ordered take out about two weeks ago as I was craving crab cakes and this place is within walking distance to my residence. Because I'm new to Trolley square from PA it was my first order. Upon arrival it was confusing which door to use or where to pick up take out. That in itself isn't a big deal but it was noticed by me and my 24 year old son. In any event the food smelled great on the way home. Sadly, the taste wasn't great. The crab cakes which cost 20 dollars were wet with grease and had a lot of filler. They were also slightly burnt. The fries were cold and also soggy which is to be expected since the styrofoam will indeed cause that. The coleslaw tasted like it was decomposing and was inedible. My family and my former husband's family owned several restaurants. I'm equally able to look from not only a consumers perspective but also from the restaurant itself. In closing, it's quite possible this one a one time thing as things can and do happen outside of the coleslaw. I will not be ordering again."

"Gator is the best pizza chef always great. Robin’s karaoke slaps every single Saturday night. From 7-11 the karaoke is an absolutely wonderful atmosphere. The bartenders and waitresses are on point every step of the way."

"Place came highly recommended. Not sure why. Ordered cheesesteaks, and kids fingers. No cheese on either cheesesteak(smh)kids tenders had gristle in each of them. Steak used was horrible. Not seasoned well, fries were in a plastic container. 4 min drive made them soggy and unenjoyable. No napkins/silverware/condiments in bag or offered. Unfortunately will not return. My opinion is to spend money elsewhere if you’re going to go with the same order as me."

"I thought was Italian restaurant, the atmosphere was bar .a few tables, place looked aweful .I ordered ravioli, my Aunt spaghetti. It came with the called one tiny meat ball I mean tiny abd didn't taste like hamburger. The ravioli were rubber .the sauce u never tasted anything so bad .the bread so hard we didn't touch it We tried to eat so waitress ask how it was .we said the worst food ever. I saw the cook looked Chinese. We gear great reviews but realized it was just a dirty neiborgood bar now. I've never given such a review. But don't even think on trying anything there .Thank God she didn't charge us 20 for 1 meatball n awful Italian dish .."

"This was our first time here. There were a bunch of regulars seated at the bar having nice conversations which made it very welcoming. We were seated in the bar area at a table and the friendly bartender served us. Although it's not advertised on the website, she let us know that Thursday is 1/2 price burger day (and nothing tastes better than a 1/2 price burger). So, we each ordered a specialty burger that was cooked to our taste and served with fries - the Kentmere and the Wawaset. She also was able to put in a to go order for the take out only special (available next door) for a $7 large cheese pizza (extra if you add toppings) which we took home. She welcomed us back to return for the other daily specials. Letting us know that Wednesdays are dine in 1/2 price pizzas and Tuesdays are taco specials (both not advertised). Next time we are in area, we'll stop in again."
