"I had the pleasure to participate in an auction in early March 2023, I was successful as an absentee bidder. The auction house was very easy to work with and their description and photos were top tier. Shipping, although not in house was flawless with a local company. I would not hesitate to use this auction house again."
"they are simply nice people and they have the best stuff out of anybody in the auction business that I know. professionals definitely."
"I would not recommend working with this gallery, they are very slow to respond and the auction moved at such a slow pace I was left wondering if anyone was there!! The owner(s) had not been wearing a mask either and I felt unsafe picking up my items. They also do not care to spell check emails or website and I don't feel they have an attitude that lends themselves to working with people as if they really care. They seem to only be concerned with the hefty commission, unfortunately, and it does not seem to go back into making a good experience for the clients....."
"Depends on your point of view. The owner calls it BP parity-- but its 25% even if you are on the phone or in audience. Worse-- this is officially the world's slowest auction. 6 1/2 hours to sell 196 lots. That's 45 lots per hour. Around 1/2 the speed of a normal auction. Imagine being in the audience and putting up with that as well as 25% BP. The CIA could use this auction for advanced interrogation because its more effective than waterboarding. But Again, it all depends on your point of view. This is a great auction for the consignor because the owner is getting most of his profits from the buyers. Also horrible plodding pace squeezes out every last nickle. However good for the seller; not so much for the buyers. Granted, they get decent stuff. But ther's nothing that is so good you cant find it at 10 other auctions houses within 100 miles for a lot less money. Advice: shop elsewhere."
"Great to work with regarding personal attention to consignments. Fred and the staff go out of their way to make Consigners and Buyers happy. This comes with years and years of experience in the business."
