"WORST EXPERIENCE! While building my house I got a private message from them after I commented on their Facebook page. They told me by making a down payment during the home show weekend that I can save 10% on my custom order even if I wasn’t ready to have anything made for me just yet. I accepted and put a payment down and told them that I will reach back once I decided on colors and sizes for the table. Unfortunately, they decided to build me a table right away, way too early, and pressure me on making a final decision even though my house was still 6 months from being completed. I told them to stop pressuring me and to start other customer’s tables. When I made my decision on the table I wanted them to build for me, they called me saying that they had a table on their floor that was very similar to what I wanted « not custom made » I said I will check it out in person but from the picture they sent me it didn’t look like the table I requested. Like I thought it was totally off, and the owner Geoff was mad because I didn’t like it even though it wasn’t even built for me, nor was it the correct color. It was terribly uncomfortable when I visited their shop, having this man demand that I accept a table that was not the correct color, especially since he already was holding my money and giving me no other way out. After all that I asked for a refund and they refused to refund my deposit. They still hold almost $1000 of my money, and I have received nothing from them in return, they lied and stole from me. This has been very difficult for us to loose this amount of money and receive nothing in return, my husband and I have no words to explain how poorly this business owner has handled this situation, which all began from his company making a mistake and building our table without our knowledge, and before we even had a house to put it in. The lack of respect for his customers and lack of care regarding customer satisfaction is evident, we would not recommend purchasing anything from this company. It looks like we are going to have to go to court just to get back our deposit, it does not make any sense to us why Geoff thinks that he has a right to keep almost $1,000 of our money, and provide us nothing in return, this is a very sad result, it is not acceptable."
