"I like this hospital waaay better than the other three my wife has been in. After the ER, which was overwhelmed, Everyone has been really nice, not dismissive or condescending as was my experience with Jacoby, Bx Lebanon or Montefiore. I had to say this because there are tons of negative reviews so I'm guessing they've made changes"
"Worse hospital ever, this is the most inhumane place. Please if you have a love one don’t you dare take it to that hospital. In the 36 years I have live in the Bronx I would actually said I have never experienced anything like this. I can’t rate 0 because there’s no option but 1 star is a lot for this place."
"What is going on with the world we're living in today. I am sick to my stomach the way my son was being treated who had a gash on the right side of his eye. We were asks to sit in the waiting area, which was fine. We waited approximately 1 hour for a nurse to come out and start calling names however, she started randomly pointing to people in the waiting area requesting for them to follow her. She then points my way however, there was another young lady who was sitting next to me. I then said are you pointing to me, she socks her teeth and slams the door as I'm walking towards her way to asks her was she talking to me. I go to the front desk and ask if I can make a compliant because she was extremely rude. The young man at the front desk was polite and kindly indicated to me I would have to call patient relations to make a compliant. I then asks of I can get a gauze for my son eye because he was bleeding. Instead of him giving me a gauze he gives me the hard paper towel that's in the bathroom. At this point I see why more and more people are committing suicide, and dying everyday. St. Barnabas hospital needs to be shut down so these nurses can stop hurting people emotionally. Us as people need to come together and protest against this hospital to be shut down. PLEASE SHUT THIS HOSPITAL DOWN..."
"Horrible experience. My mother was not treated properly here. They did not clean her and undressed her without closing the curtains three times. If you ask any questions then they consider that screaming. My mother is an alcoholic and spit her head open and was not given stitches. They have a drained and unhelpful demeanor and never talked to my mother about going to rehab. The world is very liberal and this hospital is pure evil. It deserves zero stars. The staff was not helpful at all."
"Doctors walk around more than actually working & checking up on patients. My aunt waited 4 hours to see a doctor for a few seconds then waited another 4 hours to get pain medication. I don’t recommend this hospital especially if you have any abdominal pains or any other pain."
