"I have never experienced such an unprofessional medical environment. I was hesitant to write a review but when it comes to medical care, it is important to share reviews. Alike the prior review my experience has been exactly the same. No one calls or follows up with insurance, I still cannot do a diagnostic test. The office is only open twice a week which makes communication impossible. I too have called my insurance company multiple times and they have assured me I have been given approval to perform the diagnostic exam. Abbernate’s office are not truthful, they are incompetent. They did not call my insurance, they do not call me back after multiple times of telling me they would. I could go in and on. It has been 5 weeks of back and forth, and I have finally succumbed to going somewhere else. When someone is suffering a medical issue, especially connected to sleep which is so important, a doctors office like this should not be in practice and take patients. I have told my primary physician to not refer patients to this doctors office as it has been an awful experience."

"This practice is incredibly unprofessional and outright incompetent. Office staff is incapable of providing information to insurance in a timely manner or at all, often lying that they've submitted, when insurance has zero record. A simple prior auth to process & fill a prescription takes weeks, and multiple requests not only from the patient, but also from the pharmacy & the insurance company. Dr Abbenante seems to view the practice as a hobby, working two partial days a week. He is apparently unavailable to patients or even his own staff outside of that time. He does not respond to multiple requests for a call back. Go anywhere else."
