"I’ve had a great experience as a patient at Yale Rheumatology for four years now. I especially recommend Dr. Dong. She takes the time to fully understand her patients’ symptoms and medical history (my first appt was 1.5 hours long!) and she is always available to answer questions on MyChart within 24 hours. It’s not often I feel like a doctor *actually* cares about me, but Dr. Dong truly feels like a partner in my health."
"I was referred to Dr. Wang for suspected Behçet’s disease. Was diagnosed with it about a month ago and have not been able to receive medication for it due to lack of communication on their end with the pharmacy and insurance company and when the insurance company instructed them to send a new prescription for a non name brand alternative they told me that would get done and I haven’t heard back for days. My symptoms have gotten worse since the diagnoses and these people refuse to help me. Very disappointed in how unprofessional this Dr and his staff are. Would never recommend this office"
"While Yale Rheumatology may be excellent at treating my (rare) disease, they don't do very well in treating patients. I have had doctors talk about me rather than to me while I was sitting in the same room. Their concerns have been delivered in alarmist tones. I am a grown woman - I do not have to be frightened into doing what is medically prudent. I am tired of being treated like a case, and not like a human being - a cultural pattern with Yale, in my experience."
