"Ive needed medication for the past week from my doctor and have gotten no response I am currently withdrawing from my psych medication cause they dont have the decency to respond.. not to mention every-time I call and need to see a doctor nothing is ever available.. people who answer the phones are very rude and give you an attitude for no reason.. I get it people have bad days but thats no excuse to always answer the phone with an attitude.. the only reason I come here is because I enjoy seeing my therapist through open door and I wouldnt be able to see her if I didnt come here.. My doc is usually good about prescribing things to my pharmacy but recently I have gotten no response and im extremely upset."

"Very poor communication, NP was pleasant but rushed and sent in an incorrect prescription and then cancelled a follow up when we were supposed to go over results and set up a referral. No real compassion for my concerns or frustrations. Would never recommend. EDIT: Despite the response to this review, no one has reached out to me. Even more reason to avoid this place, full of fake customer service and patient care. EDIT: After editing this review i was contacted by an administrator who at least listened and apologized. I hate this capitalistic hellscape where a patient can't even get an apology without leaving bad google reviews..."

"I just wanted to say I am extremely satisfied today after my emergency dental appointment this morning. I had been suffering from a toothache for about a week. I have severe anxiety and PTSD and have had some very bad experiences with dental work in Connecticut, so I was worried about going to my first NY dentist. Little did I know I was going to be taken such good care of, I was listened to and thoroughly informed by Dr Giezler and his assistant Cindy. I was treated with compassion and empathy and given a comprehensive plan for my mouth, which has been in a very bad state for years. They were exceptionally friendly and professional and didn’t rush me out the door, they even have somebody here who helps you get on insurance if you don’t have it. I really appreciate the experience I had today, they have no idea how much it means to me but I have been through a lot, and it really made my day that everyone here was so kind and that I was really treated like a person. I would highly recommend this place to anybody. It is very clean, they take emergency appointments, they use clean tools and equipment, follow CDC guidelines etc. The name Open Door is very fitting. For the first time I am actually looking forward to my next dental appointment. I am so happy and my tooth feels fine now."
