"Perhaps the worst psychiatric encounter I've had. On top of the price -- $1200. an hour!!!!! which is way out of common practice, when Dr. Whachtel treated my son he misdiagnosed him, perscribed the wrong medicine, and then when my son developed a life-threatening reaction from the medication, he never called to check back. Even my pharmacist complained over having to deal with him, "never experienced anything like it," he told me. "DO not send your child here for testing. I had two of my children tested, for 4k each. The Doctor, no longer there, was very nice but took over 4-5 months to complete testing, which impacted my child's IEP and then there were errors on the reports, even in many cases another child's name in the place of my child. When I went to have Dr. Wachtel fix the reports I had a very hard time."
